Quality Technician
Description
QUALITY, HYGIENE, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT:
- Ensuring compliance of the QHSE management system with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001), IFS BRC standards and customer requirements: documentary system, Good Manufacturing Practices, product risk analysis, Product Defense, etc.
- Preparing and participating in the performance of certification audits (ISO, IFS, BRC) and customer audits.
- Drafting the procedures required for the site's legal and regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring the QSE action plan with the various managers. Implementing corrective and preventive actions related to quality, safety and the environment.
- Leading quality contacts in the various production sectors.
- Monitoring the quality of subcontracting operations triggered by the factory.
- Developing quality control plans based on the product risk analysis.
- Respond to customer requirements and complaints by conducting an investigation and taking new quality measures if necessary.
MONITORING OF PACKAGING AND RAW MATERIAL SUPPLIERS:
- Management of non-conformities with suppliers: contact, monitoring of the action plan, verification of the effectiveness of the action plan, reporting if necessary
- Animation of quality assurance with suppliers
- Ensuring the updating of the risk analysis and documentation relating to new raw materials.
PRODUCTION CONTROL:
- Regular field presence in order to:
- Provide quality support to operators
- Detect and analyze quality risks, propose corrective actions and participate in their implementation.
- Retrieve batch files on Monday morning, check and validate, archive (including traceability for example)
- Manage internal non-conformities - use of the label tool, drafting of incident reports, monitoring of actions, etc. Manage quality blockages on the site and with external warehouses.
- Manage and monitor control samples - follow-up required for customer consumer complaints
- Manage and monitor compliance with quality procedures and conformity with quality indicators. Propose improvement actions.
- Lead and organize training for internal staff or external companies on topics related to Quality, Safety and the Environment.
PROJECT AND NEW CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT:
- Support during new projects (participation in trials, new products, customers, etc.)
- Management of sample shipments for quality to meet different requests
OTHER:
- Placing orders related to the operation or projects of the Quality department. Budget monitoring and proposal of savings avenues.
- Carrying out QHSE inspections on the different production sectors.
Critères indispensables
Specific technical knowledge:
- ISO, IFS and BRC standards
- QHSE management systems
- Product risk analysis (HACCP for example)
Specific tools:
- Incident resolution tools (5 why, QQOQC,…)
- SAP
- Office Pack
Degree:
- Higher diploma in the QSE field
Language:
- English read, spoken and written
Professional experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality in an industrial environment.
- Additional experience in HSE would be a plus.
